TimingAt least 45 minutes before anticipated activity
Maximum frequency1 dose per 24 hours, up to 8 per month
The 1.75 mg as-needed schedule is the FDA-approved Vyleesi regimen. Independently sourced PT-141 vials are the same molecule but are not tested to the same standard.

That regimen comes from the pivotal RECONNECT Phase 3 trials and the product label, both in premenopausal women with HSDD. Independently sourced PT-141 used off-label follows the same 1.75 mg figure by convention, but it carries none of the purity or accuracy testing of the approved autoinjector, and the approval does not extend to men or postmenopausal women.
